What do you get when yo cross Kush Mints with Wedding Cake? A super stony strain with euphoric effects and loads of flavor. I know it’s a bit tough to want to commit to grabbing any Seed Junky strain, based on the information that was floating around not too long ago. However, I am here to tell you that this strain is worth the “risk” if you’re looking for a flavorful, mellow yet stoney strain to try. So, let’s talk about this run from Gas Pump Farms, shall we?
Looks & Presentation
The looks on this herb were extremely proper. The buds were coated in trichomes. So much that when the light hit them, they turned white. Especially when they were in their glass jar. Color wise, this strain was made up of dark purple and green hues with bright orange highlights. Scale wise, I saw no reason to give this strain no less than a 5 out of 5 on the looks and presentation.
The Sweet Smell of Kush
The aromas produced by this strain were refreshing to say the least. Recently, I have been smoking herb with more fruitier and gassier notes. The nose on this cake however was the complete opposite. They consisted of robust hints of vanilla with a touch of gasoline. As I broke the buds down the vanilla intensified and that gassy smell started to turn sweet. If I closed my eyes Based on the sheer strength of the aromas alone, there was no reason I could not give it a 5 in the smell and freshness category.
Taste the Cake
The moment I hit the blunt I was reminded why I love Wedding Cake crosses so much. The caky terpenes on this batch were so potent. The idea of them dropping cake mix in the soil as they grew the plant crossed my mind. The icing on the cake, was the gassy finish on the exhale. Imagine the smell of hazelnut coffee creamer. Now imagine if that creamer was medicated. You catch my drift? Another well deserved 5 for this strain except this time, in the flavor category.
This Kush Cake Smacks!
I won’t lie, this is one of the best Wedding Cake crosses I have ever smoked. No, this was not my first go at Seed Junky’s Kush Cake. However, I can say this is the best batch of this strain that I have EVER smoked. I have to give it to the Gas Pump farms for putting out such a perfect product. Everything about this strain was on point, all the way down to the cure. I am very excited to see what else they have up their sleeves. I am for sure a fan and I would recommend any of their strains. They have yet to disappoint me.
